Cameo Fencing
I've had my Cameo Fencing for 19 years now and am just now replacing parts of it! It's a Fantastic product. Customer Service is Excellent. Also, as far as safety for horses. I have a Belgian Draft horse that weighs 2000 lbs. One day I was taking down a tent in my arena and didn't notice that he was in the same area. It scared him so much that he decided to jump out of the arena and his back legs got stuck on the top strand and it stretched for quite a way and then snapped!

When I retrieved him and checked him out I noticed that he was absolutely fine (except for a little nervous) and there was just a tiny bit of hair missing from his back legs. Never even touched the skin. I have been very happy with the product. I still have most of the cameo still in place even with the harsh temperature changes in Michigan. I am going to be buying more soon, Great product.

It kept our horses in for years and it's simple to replace. I couldn't have asked for a better product for my horses and my pasture.

Report
After installing fencing for over 20 years, I've seen the aftermath of a horse tangled in a smooth-wire, run through a board fence, or landed on top of a t-post.
Lacerations, torn muscles, or broken bones are a nightmare.
If you've been around horses long enough, I'm sure you have stories too.
In 2005, I had the opportunity to install fencing in Plant City, FL.
A young lady, just starting out, needed a 2 acre paddock.
Her first question was could we install a fencing material called Cameo.
Cameo Fencing is a white Monofilament Polymer Line.
Installation Instructions
Report
We recommend 5-6 lines of "CAMEO" on posts spaced 12' apart.
An alternative is 3 or 4 lines of "CAMEO" in combination with 1 or 2 electric lines (MAXI GRUNT).
Our white electric lines look like another line of "CAMEO" from a distance, providing a clean looking fence.
The result is a fence that is always working, it has the strength to contain your horses and the electric to teach them to respect the fence.
For Corner, End, and Gate post a 5" or 6" x 8' round pressure treated post is recommended.
FAQs
Report
Cameo horse fencing is safe for your horses.
It has strength -1200 lbs breaking per line - and flexibility.
The line will flex up to 20% before breaking.
The flexibility eliminates the "cheese cutter effect" your horse experiences from high tensile fencing.
Cameo horse fencing is extremely cost effective.
Especially when you don't have the vet bills, the care and attention, or anguish, of dealing with a horse injury from other fencing styles.
Due to the cost of freight, we do not sell fence posts.
