Western red cedar is our preferred choice for pickets as it will extend the life of the structure by years.
We set posts at 7' intervals with the right amount of concrete to maximize support and prevent rot.
We use three rails instead of two to increase structural support and prevent bowing and warping.
We place a beveled rot board at the bottom to raise the pickets off the ground reducing rot, wear, and tear.
The bevel allows water to run off and prevents warping.
